Don’t Miss Heather Maloney at Friends House Concerts!
Thanks to everyone who came out to volunteer or just enjoy a pint at the Commonwheel Artists Festival and Edelweiss German Summerfest over the past two weekends! We can confidently say that a good time was had by all.
Next up – two great concerts this coming week, starting with the return of Massachusetts-based singer-songwriter Heather Maloney to Colorado Springs following her stand-out mainstage performance at MeadowGrass earlier this year. Heather will perform an intimate Friends House Concert backed by Ryan Hommel in the Skyway neighborhood on Thursday night – doors open at 6:15 pmand the show will start promptly at 7 pm.
Heather’s latest record on Signature Sounds Recordings, Making Me Break, was produced by Bill Reynolds (Band of Horses, Avett Brothers) and features an all-star backing band that includes members of Band of Horses, The Wallflowers, My Morning Jacket and Darlingside. She recently landed on Spin Magazine‘s “Artist to Watch” list and received enthusiastic reviews from The Huffington Post and No Depression, among many others.
Reserve your seat by paying the suggested artist donation of $25 in advance – a limited number of front row seats are also available for a $40 donation. As always the concerts are BYOB – feel free to bring beverages and snacks for yourself and/or to share. It’s going to be a powerful evening of music, and we hope to see you there!
