Give! Happy Hour at the Bristol Brew Pub Sunday

The 2016 Give! campaign is halfway over and we need your help to reach our year-end fundraising goal at Rocky Mountain Highway! Please make a tax-deductible donation – the first $4,600 contributed will be matched dollar-for-dollar by grants from our wonderful local business partners, Classic Homes, Faricy Boys Jeep & Chrysler, and Edelweiss German Restaurant, and the RMH Board of Directors. And don’t forget that everyone who donates $25 or more to Rocky Mountain Highway will be entitled to receive one free mixed drink at the 3 Hundred Days of Shine distillery in Monument!

You can also support our work by purchasing a pint of Give! Black Lager at the Bristol Brewing Pub at the Ivywild School or Old Chicago restaurants in Colorado Springs and Pueblo and designating a portion of the price to benefit Rocky Mountain Highway.

We’ll be set up at the Bristol Pub on Sunday, December 4 from 4-6 pm – please drop by to join us for a microbrew or two and free live music.

Finally, our last concert of the season is coming up on Sunday, December 11 at The Gold Room in downtown Colorado Springs – the Snow Ball, a Give! Benefit Concert for the Rocky Mountain Field Institute, the Shift Thrift Store and Rocky Mountain Highway.

This year’s Snow Ball features Chicago’s Cornmeal, a bluegrass jamband that seamlessly blends lightning fast tempos and impeccable harmonies into an unrivaled live performance. The Colorado College Bluegrass Ensemble opens and the music starts at 6:30 pm. Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 at the door, and can be purchased on-line at or in person at Mountain Equipment Recyclers. The Black Rose Acoustic Society will also be offering discounted tickets for sale at their annual Christmas Concert on Friday, December 9 at the Black Forest Community Club, this year featuring The Instant Family (Charlie Hall, Phil Volan, Joleen Bell & Marianne Danehy)! Many thanks are due to our friends at The Mining Exchange for helping to make this special night possible!

Together, we can make a difference!

With gratitude,

Steve Harris, Executive Director
Rocky Mountain Highway
