We Are Grateful for You!

‘Tis the season for gratitude, and here at Rocky Mountain Highway we have ever so much to be thankful for – friends, family, freedom, and of course the gift of music, which we have in abundance in the Pikes Peak Region.

Many thanks to everyone who attended the amazing Friends House Concert featuring Eilen Jewell last week, and a hearty welcome to our newest newsletter subscribers.

We are truly humbled by the generosity of 33 individual donors who have already contributed over $2,000 to Rocky Mountain Highway via the Give! campaign, and pleased to report that we are nearly one-quarter of the way to our $10,000 fundraising goal. If the spirit moves you, we would very much appreciate your tax-deductible donation too!

Remember that in addition to other Give! perks, everyone of legal drinking age who donates at least $25 to Rocky Mountain Highway will receive one free mixed drink at 3 Hundred Days of Shine in Monument as well as one free beverage at the 8th Annual MeadowGrass Music Festival (ticket purchase required).

Since there aren’t many nationally touring artists visiting southern Colorado during this Thanksgiving week, this is a great time to show some love to the many  talented local songwriters and musicians in our midst, including these artists listed in this week’s Top 10 Concerts:

1. Jesse Cotton Stone Presents “Happy Birthday Jimi Hendrix,” Ancient Mariner (Manitou Springs), Fri Nov 27 (8:30 pm).

Finally, the Grass Roots Revival on community -powered radio, KCMJ, features a Thanksgiving theme this week with tracks from Steve Poltz, Stephen Kellogg, Darrell Scott, Special Consensus and much, much more.  The Revival airs tonight at 8 pm Mtn time or you can listen on-demand on your own schedule.

From all of us at Rocky Mountain Highway, we hope that your Thanksgiving holiday is filled with great food, fellowship, and roots music!
